Mr. Rider has extensive experience in the resolution of a variety of disputes, including familial disputes of all kinds, local government problems, neighbor disputes, even in the most complex cases. He graduated from the University of Colorado Law School with a Juris Doctor in 1968, practiced law in Colorado for 35 years (not currently licensed). After leaving the practice in 2005 he was trained in mediation practices by the Center for Dispute Resolution. Though trained and experienced in the listed areas, he is not currently licensed to practice law but uses his background to facilitate successful mediation and arbitration.
Having experienced the practice side and now mediation/arbitration it has become clear that alternative dispute resolution saves both time and money and often gives the parties the opportunity for a fresh start.
By choosing mediation the parties choose to take responsibility for their lives by maintaining their sense of dignity and self-esteem. He is committed to serve the parties by exploring a variety of options to solve disputes without undue emotional pressure or economic expense with expertise and empathy.
